Cookie Cutter Sugar Cookies
The Christmas cookie decorating was a yearly event and everyone had their own way for decorating their cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 3 cups flour
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add baking powder and flour 1 cup at a time (do not chill). Roll out dough 1/4" thick on floured surface. Bake 6-7 minutes. Frost with favorite vanilla frosting.
